Students can cut out the little flags and stick on the blank task cards. For small group or one-to-one activity Lay out cards that have the same value but different combinations of coins. Ask students to match the cards that add up the same amount and elicit what coins were used on each card. E.g. Both cards add up to 55c but one card shows 3x 10c (dimes) and 1x 25c (quarter) and the other card shows 2x 25c (quarters). Please see Preview Pane for sample of product.
